We are all profoundly shocked. With Klaus Rosenfeld, we have lost—completely unexpectedly—the co-founder of our auction platform, who had overseen its technical side since 1997. He was the one who first had the wonderful idea for the auction and was one of the company's best-known faces. Many of you will remember meeting him personally during his tours across Germany and at various whisky fairs. Klaus was known and valued as a tireless, reliable, straightforward, and fair representative of the auction — as a fellow collector, whisky enthusiast, and friend. It will take us some time to comprehend and come to terms with this loss. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience as we do so. Of course, we will do our utmost to continue running the auction as usual. Our thoughts are with his family, to whom we wish strength and comfort during these difficult days. We miss you deeply.
